Canada held a new Express Entry draw on September 30.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score during this latest invitation round was 471.The large number of Invitation to Apply (ITA) issued today is a strong indication that Canada remains committed to welcoming high levels of immigration in 2021 and beyond.
Canada has now sent out 78,350 ITAs thus far in 2020, which is well above the 69,420 that were issued at an equivalent time in 2017, another record-breaking year for Express Entry.
The latest draw saw the tie-breaking rule implemented on March 2, 2020 at 12:37:25 UTC. this suggests that each one candidates with a CRS score of 471 and above who submitted their profile before this date and time received an ITA in during this invitation round.
The latest invitation round was Canada’s 164th Express Entry draw held by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). It had been also the 25th draw of the year and therefore the fifth all-program draw held since Canada went into lockdown on March 18.
